Homemade Soft Prezels

Pretzels, hard or soft, are one of my favorite foods on earth. I’ve never attempted doing it at home, but I found a mix at Williams & Sonoma so I thought I’d give it a shot. All the mix included was “various flours” and a yeast packet, so it’s pretty much “from scratch”.

Plochman’s yellow mustard is the way to go. Give it a whirl…probably in most grocer’s.

Couldn’t agree more. The random store I was at last time I needed yellow mustard literally didn’t have it. I was pissed, but I had to get something.

So much yummier home-made, plus you can make any shape you want.

I think your sweetheart’s name spelled out in pretzels would be the best valentine ever!

were they good? I’m sure they beat the microwave ones but how do they stack up to Mall Pretzels?

They were pretty badass. I actually am a huge fan of the microwave ones myself. These were indeed better. They were a lot like the mall ones. At least very similar to the “Wetzels Prezels” we have out here. Buttery and rough…
