My life can be summarized fairly quickly on my timeline page. My professional career was essentially: learn web design & development doing agency work, start CSS-Tricks because blogging is cool, get job at Wufoo because I stanned them on CSS-Tricks, work at Survey Monkey post Wufoo acquisition, start CodePen with my buds from there, sell CSS-Tricks to Digital Ocean, focus on CodePen entirely. There are other big highlights like speaking at a ton of conferences, writing books, and doing a podcast (still).
More succinctly: the web is awesome and I want to build for it and help people be better at it.
