Favre Reactions

So as a Wisconsin native, the Favre situation has been a big deal ’round here. I’m of the opinion if you say you are going to do something, you do it. You don’t pussyfoot around and change your mind. It pisses people off and shows them they can’t count on you. Anyway, it’s over now. He’s back, and he’s a NY Jet. Good luck with that.

My friend Roy pointed me to a search on Twitter for “Favre” this morning. Of course Tweetverse is abuzz. Check out this one:

Is happy Dad didn’t live to see Favre go to the Jets.

I must disagree with you that the blame is in Favre’s court. Some: yes, most: no.

With all due respect to Ted Thompson and Mike McCarthy, this is Brett’s state. People love Brett, shortcomings aside.

The NFL is a win-now league, and Brett gave the Packers the best chance to win this year. Rodgers has been out for the season TWICE in THREE years…and he’s seen action in 5 NFL games.

250+ consecutive starts. 3 MVPs. 1 Ring. 2 Super Bowl Appearances. Most TD’s in NFL History. Most Wins in NFL History.

Thompson did great with the Moss trade too. Go Pack, but go Jets too. I would’ve like to have seen him in purple, shoving it up Thompson’s ass twice a year…
