My personal site is coming back home to WordPress. I am using the experience to shoot a series of screencasts on designing for WordPress. This theme is a bit unusual in that I am stripping out a lot of the provided WordPress functionality, but that’s life I suppose. Things will up and fully functional soon!

Also CodePen PRO is quite a deal. 🙏
Hey Chris,
Your site redesign with WordPress as a Podcast is a wonderful idea, especially with the start from scratch strategy. I’m not sure you’ll delve into some of the more development related possibilities (plug-in readiness, etc.) with this series but that would be nice too. Hey, I’m just waiting to see what you’ll do next. If I had time I’d rush ahead and whip up my own version based on this first Podcast of the series.
Cool man!

Thanks Dan!
Hey, Chris
Thanks for this WordPress series. It really gets down to the nuts and bolts of the structure and, strange as it may sound, gives people permission to mess around with the default WP setup.

Hi Chris, i am currently watching your screencast – really cool. I will start working on two projects pretty soon and I will most likely do both of them with WP. Although i knew something about wp-theme creating already it’s pretty neat to see how your workflow looks like.
By the way, the button underneath still needs a class=”button” :-)
Thanks Michi, I missed that. It’s weird maintaining two separate themes that are almost identical =)
Wow Chris! The site looks really awesome, the text balloons are very cool!

but i cant help but wonder aint there gonna be a blog page i mean only to show blog posts and to show archive and these stuff.
