I have some friends getting married this July. I met with them last night to discuss the designing and printing of their invitations. They told me that the groomsmen are wearing black cowboy shirts and the bridesmaids are wearing black dresses. The bride and groom are wearing the same, only with more elaborate designs. The groom’s shirt is pretty bad ass (above).
So I got to thinkin’ – what are some other cool wedding attire ideas?

I really like it when people do something new for weddings. I generally dislike weddings and I think it’s because it’s always the same overly religous, overly formal crap. It always seems so fake, like everybody is trying to impress their stuck up christian aunt. stuff like this gives me hope that not all weddings suck, those shirts are badass.
great wedding ideas, I think zoot suits would be cool and maybe theme weddings ala the big lebowski or star wars. I’m pushing for a wedding where I get to be darth vader, we’ll see how that works out.

yeah, darth vader groom and leia bride is the ideal. it may seem a little creepy to some, seeing as how leia is vader’s daughter and all but oh well. I’m thinking eloping to vegas for the vader theme and then a normal one in madison. they key to the star wars wedding is the vader voice changer. I want the “I do” to seem all evil and menacing.
