I know this is an old-ish post, however it hits close to home for me.
I can really connect with this conversation. Not just because I’m an introvert myself, but also because my wife’s son is also one; and he is in a hard place. He was recently promoted to a management position.
I had a ‘close brush with management’ once, which as a technician, was kind of scary; but that’s another story for another time. My son in law is now in in a position of a team leader and is faced with personnel issues that are challenging, especially for a passive personality.
I want to encourage him, but it’s hard for me to step in because I’ve only recently married his mom.
I will figure this out, and your blogs are helping the process.
The hissing part is funny! I just started listening to Shoptalk and visit css tricks. Thanks for for the laughs and knowledge :)
No wonder I don’t mind spending so much time alone in my room at the lodge!!!!
Introvert Introspection
Hey Chris,

Thanks for all you do, Bill~
