The Konami code!
I surmise this is a reference to the fact that Nintendo (I think it was them) had you hit “select” to obtain a two player game after using the Konami code? – So I suppose if you didn’t use select you were playing by yourself?
Would be interested in knowing what kinda conversation you were having that brought this to mind?!
I hate to nitpick but it’d be tough to make friends if you forgot the B A in the code.
