The Dell 24″ Widescreen Flat Panel Monitor that you are looking at is the exact one I got to work with my MacBook Pro in the office. You will want ot go get a Spyder 3 to calibrate it other wise you will be spending way to much time trying to get the colors to look right.
why not just get a cinema display? refurbished for $599.

@Josh – Also a possibility, although I don’t like the limited number of input ports and weird proprietary connectors. On the new 24″ anyway, not sure about the monster 30″
