Hot Mustard

I knew the day was coming. McDonalds has discontinued their Hot Mustard dipping sauce. I’m aware that the right solution in life is “Never go to McDonalds, ever, even if they have Hot Mustard sauce.” But. Sometimes it happens, and when it does, I get me some Hot Mustard sauce because it’s de-friggin-licious and there is no grocery store substitute as far as I know.

Of course there is a Change.org petition, and it only needs 604 more signatures, although I’m not sure what that actually means. I doubt McDonalds agreed to bring it back at any number of signatures, although I do hope they are watching.

I might have to try this.

Well, crap. I haven’t had that in a long time, and now I guess I’ve missed my chance.

  2. change.org just always says “N more signatures needed” to make it seem like its progressing. As soon as they hit that number, it goes up again.

I feel you, man. Although I actually thought it had been gone for a while already.

It was great with both McNuggets and fries. And it’s loss will be silently mourned by many.
Rest in 6-Piece, Hot Mustard of my life…

I am going to be honest. I have never heard of “Hot Mustard”. The whole thing seems absurd. What is with the “Hot”? Mustard is supposed to be spicy anyway. That is the point of mustard. “Hot Mustard” is like “Mustard Pepper” or something. I mean. I think McDonald’s pulled it because the whole product was the essence of superfluousness.
