Winter Storms

Today, National Weather Service forecaster Thomas Spriggs talked about big winter storm system sweeping the Nation. If it merges with another system off the Virginia coast “It actually will be quite a doozy of a snowstorm,” Spriggs said.

Here are some ways National Weather Service forecaster Thomas Spriggs could have (but didn’t) end that sentence:

  1. It actually will be quite a doozy of a snowstorm, for all us wimpy non-Wisconsinites.
  2. It actually will be quite a doozy of a snowstorm, man, I gotta take a dooze.
  3. It actually will be quite a doozy of a snowstorm, posing no problem at all for Hummer driving rich white people like me.
  4. It actually will be quite a doozy of a snowstorm, did I just say doozy on national television?
