Super Shipping

I was randomly sitting in a bar this past Saturday with some friends. I got to talking about how awesome I thought the show The Black Donnellys was. I ordered it through my Amazon app on my iPhone. A few hours later, still sitting at the bar, I got an email that my order has shipped. I kinda forgot all about it. That’ll happen when you spend the day inventing new drinks (e.g. “Church Juice” = Cheap Red Wine + Whiskey + Mt. Dew). Monday morning, delivery truck rolls up with a package. The Black Donnellys. Seriously? That is some super speed shipping.
The Black Donnellys was an incredible show. I’m still upset that they cancelled it.
I’ve always been very pleased with Amazon’s shipping speed. It’s usually less than the 5 days with the standard shipping. My I ordered my jQuery book on a Monday and had it by Thursday. The only time it sucked was when I order a video game. It took about 4 or 5 weeks to get to me.
