How To Get Me To Take My Business Elsewhere

Ignore me.

When you are a brick-and-mortar, one of the few things that you have that online stores will never have is good personal customer service. If I walk in there and am ignored for 20 minutes and walk out, you haven’t just lost a sale today, you’ve lost all my sales forever.

I don’t have the slightest bit of sympathy. Customer service isn’t some new-fangled concept businesses are struggling to adapt to.

And yes, I’m just pissed because the music store down the road ignored me and I’m trying to make a big deal out of it.

    Well, taking 20 mins to get some service is pretty dam pathetic even if it was really busy.

    just walked out of a restaurant the other day. If I would have gotten their attention and ate there, my pissed-offedness would have ruined the taste of the food.
